Looks like its integrated in with the trigger guard. Hopefully it can simply be removed and a normal trigger guard and pistol grip installed.

That is exactly how it works, pop the trigger guard pin out, undo the grip bolt, replace with grip of your choice and trigger guard plate.

Makes this even more smoking of a deal cause it has a decent looking free float hand guard. Maybe I shall have to purchase one.
