Welcome to WASP Munitions, the newest factory reloader in Canada!

RELOADS at Factory ammo prices is going to be hard to sell,,,except on those odd times where there is NO factory ammo to be had,,but factory ammo seems to be comming in more and more lately,,except 22LR of course,,

I have to say it strikes me as a bit pricey. I'm buying factory Winchester locally at 14.50 for 9 mm and 18.50 for .40. I thought the whole point of commercial reloads was to be cheaper than factory amm?

Also, as a new company I'd expect them to be undercutting their competition at least at the beginning to get people to try the product and gain market share. As it is they seem to be priced higher than Centaure or Wolf.

Sorry, the above wasn't intended to be rude but rather an actual question. Are these marketed as a "premium" or higher quality reload and thus the pricing?

Maybe i live on another planet but these are reloads and they should be at least $5 cheaper per box
Selling them for the same price as new factory ammo

Please tell me why should i buy these

+++1 I'd be in on buying too, but it's the shipping (as in to Ottawa Ontario) that would rape the effort in trying to save money.....even on bulk buys.....It's essentially the same cost that Lebarons sells for.....

A premium reload is preferable to aluminun cased cheap factory ammo...
Kate can you supply the energy figures of this ammo, this could make justification easy... JP.

We will definitely be providing information on FPS etc and we're working with WASP on pricing. Watch out for some great pricing in the coming weeks!

This is great that there is another company in Canada offering ammo!!! It will help out with more competition to keep prices in line. I would also love to see .30-06 Garand loads, but also 8mm mauser and .303 Brit in their line-up!!!! There has got to be room there to undercut factory ammo and I am not sure any other reloading company in Canada makes these calibers, so it would be a market niche that they could alone capture! The factory ammo for these three calibers is astromomical right now!!!

Cheers,

Ian

I agree on both points. Great to see another Canadian company in the works. But yes, pricing isn't quite where it needs to be. Yes things have gone up, but its barely cheaper than factory as it stands.

+1 on the "more competition is good" comments. If nothing else it will keep Wolf and Centaure honest as well as improving supply in general.

It's insane how entitled some people act. I have dealt with the owner face to face and his goal is to keep costs as competitive as possible. If you don't like the pricing have some manners and keep your mouth shut. No one is forcing you to buy.

Asking what benefits his product offers over another product with a near identical price isn't acting entitled, its informed buying. Neither is inquiring about bulk pricing options, pretty much every retailer offers this, so its a fair question.

I'll probably grab a case of the 9mm and .223 to try out.

My bad for not being clear. Questions are great, rude comments bashing a new company not so much. It appears the comment(s) I was referring to have been deleted.

Welcome Ray, I think it's great you are taking this on, we need more people in the industry like you! :)

I'll try it but if its not as good or better then factory ammo I'll only buy once. I read tons praise for Wolf ammo, finally tired it and in my guns it does not shoot as good as factory ammo and I got a lot of light primer strikes. The little savings over factory ammo wasn't enough to justify buying it again. So I went back to factory ammo

What id really like to see is more 147gn 9mm ammo. I have only been able to buy one 1000rd case of American Eagle 147gn and that was the best ammo I have shot so far. The 147 is the ticket for me but I cant find any
