Let me know if you want "on the list" for one.

Put me on the list for those 5.56/.223 30 rounders...
Unfortunatly I had to work all day today, so it'll be next Thursday I'll have all the info and pics.

Can the barrel be easily swap out for an 18.5" ?
Nobody is currently producing an 18.5", but when it is, all you need is a drill press, bench grinder, and 15mm wrench and you're set.

Man, this is incredible; just imagine... bullpup, semi-auto, non-restr., 30-40 rds.... Am i dreaming ? :D
Hehe... it'll be sweet, but so evil, the RCMP may deny my mag "just because". lol.

Ok, here's some other stupid question (sorry, didn't read to whole thread):
- are there two distinct chambering (5.56/.223) or is it just because people can register them as either caliber (nomenclature thing).
Apparently, some FS2000's were marked .223 instead of 5.56NATO, so they created an extra FRT entry for those. Everyone i've seen says 5.56NATO on it.

- How do you attach a sling to the front part of the rifle?
I don't own a sling for anything I own, so I have no idea.

What's inside the lower portion of the buttstock ? looks very cumbersome
Of course the magazine goes in there, halfway between the trigger and the rear of the stock. The rest looks to be a storage compartment. The gun comes with a little green velcro case that holds all the cleaning supplies, but when following the manual for disassembly, there is no compartment in there. On the military version (F2000) it is most likely there.

Hope that answers everything.

Sling Idea...

so in the civie version, is the buttstock hollow or solid?
It's hollow, but has "ribs" all through it. You could take the dremmel to it and make it really hollow :)

That's a VERY crazy sling setup.

My FS2000 has been awesome! It is a great shooter, comfortable, easy to clean etc., the only drawback (if you can call it that) is the huge attention it gets at the range - all positive, even from the people who say "aren't bullpups illegal!?".

The first comment is usually "COOL", the second is "Where can I get one?"

So is there any cdn dealer that shows interest in bringing some FS2000 ?

We'd love to. However currently a commercial export for these will not be entertained by the US State Dept.
