What caused them to scream NO is that the 7619P doesn't come with 7619P mags, it comes with AR15/M16 mags!
So, a magazine designed right from scratch (that means using no M16 dies, stamps or mag bodies), for the 7615P can legally hold 30 rounds. And if it happens to still fit in the AR15, oh well, 30 she be. (Remington manufactured 7619P mags don't count, as they are using M16 dies/stamps to produce them.)
So, that's what I'm doing, right from scratch out of a block of aluminum. Once the mag is done, it's getting sent to the RCMP for a legal letter stating I can use it's full capacity, even in my FS2000![]()
