Well. this is what i plan to do next tonight.
will try to cut the rear rail tonight and see what going on.
will post pic after i done.

no wife and what plans i have for my GF i cant say cos my son is a member here . :D

as for the gas , i trust CSA has done all the safety testing .
 
Warning people about watching out about a blast of searing gas is a bad thing I guess. Man, you guys have no idea about East block types and how they cut corners for profit. It might be nothing though.

Ok. i cut both side Rail .and looking better.



and they look good for the top end.


and the dust cover can remove without move the side mount.


and also dare to dream, the bolt carrier without removing the side mount.:)

 
Oh sweet HOT DAMN! You found the Holy Grail! An optic mount you don't have to remove to clean the rifle. It's a little high, but for an SBR it's livable.

Which rail is that? Does it mount directly centered over the bore?

The Rail i bought from gun show. don't know who make it.$30.00 is good for
Test.
No. not directly centered over the bore.
little offset about 5mm on the right.
for me i can live with that.
but i used this shorties for CQB only and keep use
iron sight .
Just for fun to do some mod .

Thanks for the info Sir. This will give me a good project for the winter. I have too much stuff on the go right now, but I'm all over this like stink on a hobo.:D
