Well, Stag is off of my buy list

I'll be buying more Stag products. Penalizing them for trying to keep skilled, loyal staff employed in this environment seems....well.....no comment. :)

My first AR-15 is going to be a Stag. I'm a fan of their rifles and of the company, and them not moving out of the state they call home won't change that.

why penalize them for something that is not their fault? if everyone and every fire arm business leaves, that State will soon become a gun free zone and that is exactly what they want.

Personally I think these manufacturers should stay in these "ban" states and pour in as much money as possible to defeat the Democrats.

Look at the big picture. A pro- gun state is pro-gun anyways. Moving to a pro-gun state is NOT going elect more pro gun representatives to neither the house nor the senate.

That's why these manufacturers need to stay in these "ban states" and fight on, to peel the as many seats off the Democrats as possible in the next election. They need to pour more money into the local campaigns and support the local pro-firearms candidates.

This is the strategy to elect more pro-gun representatives to the house. Yes, the pro-gunners may not be able to control the state itself, but the pro-gunners need the seats from these states to contribute to the House at the federal level, even if they cannot take over within their own states.

It sounds good in theory, but other companies (Anyone remember Smith and Wesson?) have gone with the "Comply" route and their customer base all but abandoned them. S&W almost went belly up over it.

I own a Stag and I love it, and would/will buy another if funds permit.
To the original post: (knock on wood) YOUR job moves to another provience, I can rightly assume that you wouldn't think twice and go with your job? Point being, there is more than just you...you have to think of family, where will you live, how much will you get paid....etc etc. Not as easy as saying ok, we're moving our plant across the country for Stag... Ct is squashing the 2a, no doubt about that. But, there are countries that do far worse to their people and no one is boycotting them...I hope you don't have any Norinco, or similar in your collection.
I guess no one will be buying any ACS Lar mags, Mossberg, Colt, Ruger who all have plants in Ct.

In the end: Everyone has the right to put their money where they want.

I wouldn't buy STAG either, they don't sell short barrelled rifles anymore.

And as for BC, we're full. Don't move here or visit. We need property prices to come down so I can afford to buy an acreage. Come on NDP!!!

Don't care I'm still moving east, at least there I can afford an actual house. With a backyard and front lawn.
