Well What did you Do Today on Father's Day??

Well Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there....

I didn't do much of anything.. I just sat around with friends and family and I made Pizza's In my wood fired Stone oven... mmmmm
 
Happy Fathers Day!!

I spent the day with my wife, three boys, sister and Mum. We had an excellent meal great family time.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's that aren't with their families for whatever reason, but especially to those that are serving us so well in the Armed Forces.

BBQ'd some burgers and corn, a couple of Coronas, and sent him home with a bottle of single malt Scotch. Got a long distance call from my son, which was good. A pretty good day all in all.
 
I shot 2 rounds of Trap with my neighbour and girlfriend and a few others and then we put 200+ rounds through my CZ75b (girlfriends first time on Handguns) and another guys SIG Mosquito. We then went to the 50 yard rifle range and ran through 250-300 rounds of .22lr in my Girlfriends 64b shooting Steel spinners.

now that sounds like fun... My kids wouldn't let me go to a match cause it was Father's Day and they wanted to hang out.... that was so nice my motivation to go shooting was kind of gone... had a great day nonetheless...
 
My kids did the Fathers Day dinner on Saturday night as they were out of town on Sunday. So I went to a monthly club Cowboy match. Due to the weather only 4 of us showed up. Well we didn't bother to save the scores and just shot to have fun.
 
I dropped off a bottle of Crown Royal to my dad, then spent the rest of the day blasting off water rockets in the back yard with my kids.
 
Spent the day with the family in the swimming pool before going out for dinner

Wondered when my birthday present from the wife will turn up in the post (Mossberg 590) :dancingbanana:

worked in the gardens,there was no match scheduled in N.S this year,than went out to supper,I usually shoot the matches because it's father's day and father's should be able to do what they want on their special day,Mother's day however is another story!
 
Youngest son (not living at home) invited me to lunch on him. 1230 came at the Chinese place and he was a no-show. So ate lunch on my dime and promptly got the Hershey-squirts. Then up to the range with my wife and the bigger boomers...44 Magnum, .45 ACP and 7.62x25. We get there, the place was painted the day before by the work party, wife is very allergic to oil based paint, so she drives down the road to Sidney. I shoot at playing cards, but it's hard to play Solitaire that way. My hand is getting sore from the Redhawk (have to lay off the powder a bit next time I reload .44) and there are several more loo visits. Seafood buffets, I tell ya.

Later the kid called, all apologetic and says he's bringing by some micro-brews from the pub/restaurant he works for. So it's all good :)
 
Defensive pistol/carbine match in Virden. With all the other cool dads. 7th place! Sawgunner on the timer took 3rd :)
