The ammo was very good, no blown primers reported. Brass was nicely annealed GGG brand(never heard of it). Looks like next year will be Trinidad if they can get everything in place. Tony Wood from the BRA is the new Director of Rifle Competition for the West Indies Fullbore Conference. His job is to ensure that each host country range meets the standard to hold the competition. IE enough flags, the proper distance from the targets, the proper height, available marks (hopefully trained), enough targets to hold the competition, accommodation available, available match ammo etc.
If Trinidad can not make the grade for next year it will be move to Antigua. It will be in Jamaica in 2020 for sure.
This year the West Indies will bring a combined team of the Top 15 shooters that qualified in Barbados to the DCRA 150th this year in Ottawa. There will also be some individual shooters that didn't make the West Indies team coming up to Canada to shoot this year.
