Westrifle just posted some beautiful non-refurbished Tulas for $245 !!

Wholesale Sports from time to time has a very nice selection of SKS. I got a nice mint non refurbished 1954 Tula from them for $180 not last summer but the summer before that.

hey, I buy all my mill surplus guns at wholesale sports. Just though I should let you know I got ahold of the company I found out all the mill surplus they sell are re-arsneled. I have noticed repaired stocks and such on mine but because they were in such great looking shape I took em.

That gun is for sure non-refurbished and I got it from Wholesale sports.

Wow, that's nice.

Ya, very nice. Seems like lotsa nice 54's in these latest batches. I've got an identical one, with all the crisp proofs and serials and no refurb marks. Yes they still are definately re-arsenaled, although the actual refurbishment might amount to little more than a quick going over. I could be mistaken but I am sure that 99% will at least have a new cleaning rod, bayo, gas piston or some other less noticeable parts.

Yes I used to sell to wholesale but I stopped. I stopped about July last year.

I bought a mosin from you guys and the stock was in better shape then wholesale sports. The ones you sent me came in great and quick ( I live in BC). The one from whole sale the stock was chipped and such but it was a Pre war stock so I had to grab it. I plan to put another Mosin with laminate stock if you guys bring em in.

Do you plan to bring in any Svt-40 magazines by any chance?

agreed, I like the butchered mag body better for that reason...they both suck, not taking a full stripper clip sucks...mine take 5.5 rounds, if I'm not careful...aka 4 still on the clip, and one falls into the tall grass

Yeah it's always that 6th round that almost comes off the clip and floats around in the chamber. You try to fish it out but it's just dangling off the clip, calling you a retard and getting soviet era lead dust and chemicals on your lunch. It got to the point where I made some 'custom' clips with a hammer and a vice, but I stopped using them because they sucked.

It probably came from you then. I bought it June last year. I thought it was in unusual good shape to be on the standard rack grade shelf.

Its amazing what you can find when you look hard enough. My non-refurbished, unfired, and probably unissued 1953 Izhevsk originally came from Wholesale Sports in the Peg... thankfully, Flamingchicken (who first found her) sold her to me... and I'm sure he made quite a hefty profit, but no matter, I wouldn't let her go for twice what I paid him! :)

That is one nice '54 you got there!!.... And, clearly unfired... well done. Now, don't be stupid and sell her! (and if you do, let me know first, k?) :)

I believe there was many good ones that came from us. Sad thing that the buyers there have changed and we can not find common ground with wholesale . I am still waiting on phone call from new buyer even though I send many emails and talked to the assistant many times.
