Wet tumbling

I fill my tube with pins, brass, then soap, lemi shine, and add water just 2 inches below the top.
tumble 2 hours.

No damage to brass, no peening, no nothing.
Water dampens it all. If you let brass and pins fall on each other with no water, you will get damage. I don't get any damage.

I bought my pins from Amazon.ca..they were at 50 for 5 lbs but went up with the fall of the dollar..now I believe they are at 65 for 5 lbs. .same price or a bit cheaper than Cabelas

I was in Cabelas today and saw they had ss pins on the shelf. $78 but I thought oh well, they're here, I'm here, may as well grab them.

if your getting new pins, be sure to run them by themselves for a couple hours to wear off any burs. Otherwise your brass will look like it got chewed on by beavers.
