Went to the Handgun Range for the first time is 1.5 years. I know its been too long. Went there with 2 of my best buddies who I haven't seen in forever as well. One of my friends is a CO at Kingston and he has since gotten into handgun shooting a bit and brought down his Smith and Wesson M&P which I have never shot one before, needless to say not bad. We also had another buddy with us who had never shot a handgun but is safe and eager to learn.
Anyways all I really have to say is it was a great time shooting ~ 350 9mm rounds between the 3 of us safely and having a good time and a few beers afterwards. Also finished my workbench.
Sorry if this isn't really an information packed thread I just wanted to say it was a great day and got to do something I haven't in a while and missed very much. I was impressed I was able to keep up to my buddy with my Ruger P89 in Targets we had a few little competitions as he shoots rather regularily lately and I was able to stay at least right along with him.
Anyways enough rambling just though I would post something positive and encourage anyone who hasn't shot in a while to get out there it is a great thing.
BGH.
