This is very amusing and quite depressing towards our boys fighting in Afghanistan preserving the right of free speech. Here we have Canadians willing to ban someone for not having the same ideology as some of the posters. It is very similar to the Taliban killing and destruction of persons and artefacts that did not correspond to their way of life. Is not Canada a nation of free speech and ideas? So, if I make a remark about post containing the politically incorrect assault shotguns that have been veiled in the media to be posted in another section, that makes me a Taliban in Canadian eyes. I have a 9 shot Benelli that I have used for backup on pheasant shoots. I have also 39 prohibs among many other guns. Do I post them on a website? NO! Why? I would not give the opportunity to the antis to use this. If one would like a pic of one of these guns, I would email him personally.
Claybustr, the web is a maze of hearsay, truths and untruths. I do write not for one, but for several publications, in my spare time. I have done this for over 20 years. It is not my bread-and-butter, far from it! I do not do it for income; I am very well remunerated for my other abilities. It pays for over 8 weeks of vacation time every year, most of it shooting around the world! I will be this year in Morocco, France, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic shooting clays. Besides, shooting a good number of events in Canada and the US, most over 100 entries, I usually do well. As for my clay shooting skills, you are quite misinformed! I do have my ups and downs, specifically with some of the smaller Canadian shoots that have target visibility problems. Here are a few posted results from shoots that had over 80 guns:

Who is # 4?
Who finished top 10 at 3 Traveller tough shoots last spring?
Who shot a top 15score over 639guns on Benelli in Lonato?

Who finished tied 9th overall/125 guns! beat all the AAs and US Team Members, at the Bud Wolfe Classic in Markham this December?
I have never been a C shooter. Maybe someone might think of me as such. That is his prerogative. NSCA screwed up class system has me as B. The Connecticut Travelers with their Traveller Tough targets have me as Class1. I shoot more Traveller targets than NSCA. Who finished 3rd, was second last year and won the year before the Kingston DU with 80 shooters? Who was in the top 5 for over 5 years at the Leucan shoot in Valcartier?
I don’t shoot competitively anymore. But, once in a while I still do well. I shoot for fun and to meet and mingle with shooting buddies from around the world.
As the saying goes: Bull#### talks, Money Walks!
The proof is in the pudding!
Wake up and look at the pictures! The bird was shot some 10 yards behind the tree or some 40 yards from the shooter. If you think otherwise, you have not hunted! We hunted, shot and retrieved 475 birds this year. Every bird is recorded. It is up from last year, down from previous years. Our best year was 895 birds, year 2 for Scotch!
Please enjoy your firearm. But be careful where you publicise it.
Happy New Year to all,
Henry
