What animal skull is this?

Your a lucky guy it's in great shape . My buddy Jack is always saying "Good head is hard to find" I guess this is what he's been talking about. I always wondered.
Man the older I get the more things are clearer to me.

Or possibly a Liberal due to the teeth...
Certainly not a lieberal. They have no teeth, just soft gums, since their diet is mostly soft matter. The neurocranium is way too big.
Now that I think about it, that is not a skull, it is just a cranium.

Maybe post something next to the skull for a size comparison for a more accurate answer. Although I'm going to side on the raccoon as I have a skull much, if not exactly like that.

Ya, like a tape measure or something:), another vote for rackety- coon chile

BUT...the snout is too short and it is too small. I thought immature bear, to accomodate for the size, but it still does not quite explain the short snout.

The raccoon guys may be right, but it seems pretty large for a raccoon to me. I've seen bear skulls from 200 lb bears that are not even twice that size...unless raccons get to be 100 lbs in your part of the country...

One study done in Kansas showed the average skull length to be 110mm - just about bang on the photo with the measuring tape. http://www.skullsite.co.uk/Racoon/racoon.htm

As well, add an inch of soft-tissue nose and the length is about perfect for Rocky...

Coon skull. Not full adult as the plates aren't fully fused but of adult size. The eye sockets and teeth are a dead give away. Plus I have 7 on the bench rite infront of me.
