What be folks keeper chamberings for Hunting and Plinking?

22LR for plinking and anything smaller than a woodchuck, 22-250 for anything between the woodchuck and coyote, 30-06 for anything bigger than the coyote and my old heavy barreled 308s for plinking because 10,000 round barrel life :). And yes, 12ga for anything shotgun related.

There are 25 sets of dies on the shelf right now but some of them haven’t been used in years and some others will join them as the PRS flavor of the month changes.

I love seeing people’s favorites, it would be interesting (but maybe not surprising) to know how the favorite calibers correspond to the decades they learned to hunt/shoot in.

I haven't hunted in a few years but I have kept one rifle capable for deer, black bear, moose or coyotes... a custom 700 in 243, a .22 LR bolt action for many small things and of course an old 12 gauge Wingmaster... plus a couple of capable air rifles.

.22, 20ga, 12ga, 30-30, 32WS, .303, 8x57, plus a whole bunch more. If I was to be planted in a coffin with all my guns like Johnn, I would need a container. :p

Not sure...but what I shoot the most are:
6.5x55, 308, 7mmRem, 243, 222 in that order. I have several others, but those are the most accurate and tend to get shot more.

22lr, 17hmr, 223rem, 44mag 1892 for around the yard, 7-08 (by inheritance), 7mmRM, 348win, 12ga. As long as there are all those at all times I am comfortable to play outside the lines. But then I just go hunt everything with a bow anyways
