What brand of rifle to choose for greatest accuracy??

Unless all of that shooting was rapid fire, the barrel should be fine for a long time. As far as copper fouling is concerned, I haven't found any that CR-10 could not remove.

How many 204 ruger barrels have you shot out? I talked with a few other people that figure 800 to 1200 rounds is normal for a 204 ruger. I think my next barrel will be chambered in 20 vartarg.

Barrel life is like trying to pick lotto ticket winning numbers, just never know. I have heard of 1000 to well over 4000.If you run her hot it will be less run her nice she will last.

I shoot with a few people that shoot 204s, and at least one rifle is still shooting good after 2000 rounds. Then again, the owner doesn't overheat it.

I haven't heated mine up too hot. But then again I'm not going to stop shooting cuz my barrel is alittle warm it's only a barrel.:D

CR10 works for copper. But I recently tried some Janitorial strength ammonia on a barrel showing copper as I did not have CR10. Got it from home hardware and worked great.
