What can I hunt with my air rifle?

Thanks for input everyone! Will be sure to follow all of your advice

3 questions

1) How do I identify a songbird and distinguish it from other birds?

2) Are all other birds except songbirds OK to shoot? Which ones are OK to shoot?

3) Any tips on how to track a bird? I'm a complete newb and I have a hard time tracking wounded birds.

You are either a troll or an idiot. Go back to grade school and learn how to read and identify things in pictures, take a hunter safety course and jump off a bridge if you don't pass it the first time.

If you are at all serious about shooting and hunting.
Join your local fish & game club. They have youth and education programs covering everything from archery to hunter education.
There are clubs in every Provence.

If you are just jerking every ones chain. That's fine too I guess. :D

sorry to hijack this thread, but i just got wondering i just finished setting up mice traps in the garage cause there are field mice all over in it and the stupid cats could care less about them and arent even scaring them. So i just got wondering if its legal to shoot them with a pellet rifle, would be alot quicker then traps. I dont have my hunting license so im pretty sure I cant do this. So i figured CGN is the best place to ask, if not anyone got tips on how to get rid of these mice fast

Call 911. The Police can shoot the mice, the Ambulance can take care of the wounded ones and the Fire Department can hose the blood off the floor.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. :D :D :D

You don't need a hunting license to exterminate mice in your garage.
Just make sure you don't shoot through your garage door. :D

ahahahah I got a good laugh from this thread, are you kidding us SRNM? those traps will take care of the mice much quicker than any airgun just as long as you use the spring loaded traps

don't mean to jack this thread, but i have some crickets under my porch that won't stop chirping.

can i hunt them with my bb gun or do i have to get a hunting license? i plan on eating them so i won't be wasting the meat.

I wasn't gonna say nothing, but there's so many fail all in one thread!!

For the mice thing, just put some trap out, clean out your trash, and fill any holes in wall that they are getting in with steelwool.

I am anxiously awaiting my trip to Botswana, I had thought of the trusted .458 should be suffice. On futher instruction I think I will switch to the legendary .177 daisy.
