What Combat .40 Do You Like ???

I quite like my Springfield XD40, especially when price is taken into consideration, but of your choices I would get the USP, no doubt. I shot a USP .45 once and that is an excellent pistol. Given my Springfield, and a USP .45, I don't think I would want any other current production polymer pistols.
I have shot all three and personally I prefer the Glock 22. In my current job I am am issued the Glock and have fired thousands of rounds through it without one malfunction. I have also owned a Sig P226 and fired the the HK but I still prefer the Glock pistol as the Glock works better for me. This is just my opinion though. I think they are all good guns and comes down to personal preferance.
I have a Sig in 40cal, I love the gun, BUT I dont think it was ment for 40cal.
It could be the ammo, but I find that it jams when I go to chamber a round ( hit the slide stop). Happens 90% of the time, I gotta be real hard on it ( rack back the slide like I'm getting pissed ), or I gotta ride the slide.
But after that I may get 1 or 2 jams. I say its the ammo. Now if the bullet is seated a bit down, it works 100%

I only evered tried WolfBullets 40cal ammo 180's and I think its ment for 1911's. Now I'm going to find some RN bullets and reload. I think the ammo too long for the gun. I might polish my feed ramp and chamber.
I have a Sig in .40 as well and I have not had one jam. Though, I only use ball ammo.....oh and some Speer Gold dot, which still haven't had a problem. I had a .45 and Winchester white box stuff, the BEB stuff, its not ball, its got pretty harsh edges......and that stuff jammed almost every round. UMC worked fine.
Have you tested with any other ammo besides Wolf? Try it with anything else and if a lot of other brands, including ball ammo jams, then Claven might be right....something might be out of spec. If rounds are feeding at too high of an angle and jams, maybe look at the mags, see if they're seating properly, if the followers are ok, probably are....just trying to cover all the bases.......

None of the above! .40S&W was the answer to no real problem!

Robert...I'm sure you know this, but a good habit to get into is to run a box of good factory ammo through any new gun that you buy to check for function. I wouldn't start cutting away steel on your SIG until you try that.
Wolf ammo in a SIG..? That's like putting farm gas in a Porsche. :lol:
