What do I have to do to sell 40 S&W

Don't forget the guys who are looking for an amazing price on 357 magnum!!!
I have had excellent results with PMC!!! Both with factory ammo and reusing the brass for reloading.
Have not bought anything from you guys yet, but I appreciate you asking for an opinion about what to do going forward. And if you come out with competitively priced ammunition, I for one will take advantage of it.
Thanks,
wcmd

Like i said, my stock of 45 LC is less than 200 left... So dont be shy, make a great deal on them... JP.

I have used PMC in 5.56,.45 and .40...It all seems to be light loads and it is dirty. I think others have experienced this.

I've personally never purchased from your business before but I think it speaks volumes for your business when you ask your customers opinion on pricing and products. I'll definitely be considering you when I make another purchase.

I know this is usually out of your control but for me personally shipping is a big factor when buying ammunition online.

I was one of the lucky few who got in on the 223 sale, and although I was a little dissapointed by the way the sale went, I was impressed by how fast they communicated with me after the purchase (within minutes) and the ammo were shipped the very next day and arrived faster than I anticipated, so big thumbs up for this!

I think they just started and it's normal to do some mistakes, but from my last purchase experience, they gained my trust and I would be happy to buy from them again.

Getting back to the price topic, I was looking at the bullets price, and although the product seems really similar to Campro, the price is almost x2, so I would highly suggest that Western look into the Campro price list as a guide for their own bullets pricing if they want to take some Campro market share, which is a well established and trusted Canadian bullet manufacturer with impressive pricing.

Im sorry but you will never ever sell me a single .40 cal I despise the cartridge.

Why do you dislike the .40, it has become quite popular in shooting sports and is basically the only cartridge now used in standard/limited classes.

As for the topic at hand, although being very popular most people I know running .40 either reload or buy factory reloads due to the fact that they are burning it up at an extreme rate.

Simply answer - people are tired of high prices. 22 back in the day was $14 for a brick of 500. Now I challenge you to find anything retailer that does not jack up the price every three months and say it is the dollar, it's because of the shortage, blah blah blah. Why would anyone buy another pistol to have suffer the ammo saga gap for yet another calibre?

There is one retailer posting a price that is 10% lower price as compared to another retailer for something. But the price 4 months ago was 20% lower. What justifies such an increase? Thanks but not thanks. Some people do keep their receipts.

Your post got my attention and ended up on your web site. I think your price are right. No problem there. But I did not even know your company was existing...maybe a banner on CGN like Questar or Wolverine ?
I loaded up on .40 got a 2000 bullets and about 3000 reload done. Then my interest shifted to .44 mag - looking for a Kieth type SWC bullet plated...lead or nothing right now on that style...then I moved to .454 casull.. 300 grains Kieth style plated would have been awesome but none can be found except lead...so my interest shifted and my .40 got used less. This is also summer, I spend less time at the range shooting pistol and more shooting rifle. Pistol is more for the inside range in my case.
So don't give up..you have a nice product line and price seem right..just get the world out a little more.. :)

We put on a special sale price but are not getting any traction.
Let me know - are we not competitive? Do you prefer a different brand? Did your wife hide your credit card? If it's the credit card one please leave us a smiley face.
If there is a better price out there for 40 please let us know. But there are some rules.

1) The inventory must be in stock and ready to sell.
2) All products must be available in Canada.
3) Products must be the equivalent of the products we are listing.
4) The products must be listed on line and you must post a link to this product.
5) Orders must have shipping as an option.
6) All communications must be done respectfully.

Thank you.

FWIW What little .40 I buy I get at $16.75/box ($335 per case of 1000) shipping included (Centaure) This seller allows you to mix calibers and as long as you buy a 1000 rounds total shipping is free and you get the same price per box

I don't have a .40, so I don't have any comments regarding price or brand.

Maybe putting "shipping included" in larger font might help? I didn't notice your "shipping included over $300" text until the third time I looked at the ad.

Funny... I still didnt see that as an option the third time I was there... Just didnt seem to stick out. DOH!

Disregard last msg!

I don't know about the .40, but I bought new starline .357 last month for less than you sell fired stuff for.

Oh yeah! I love 40 S&W, by far my 40's are the most fun to shoot of my pistols. Reading the hater comments honestly just makes me chuckle.

I got in on another sale of $319 for 1000 with free shipping, main reason this sale didn't pull me in. The big downside to 40 S&W is the price of ammo, and lately I'm having to pinch my pennies so I'm being more thrifty. When I run out I'll be looking you guys up though!

This has been a great forum for us. Thank you for all the comments. We will take them and discuss them in detail. The sale is over. We should get the sales all processed on Monday. As long as our freight company is on time they should go out Monday. If not then definitely Tuesday.
