I have 4-22's, 22mag, 223, 243, 270wsm, 30-30, 303, 300wsm, 410, 2-12guage, .50 cal muzzleloader. Not sure what should be next. Not a lot of holes...only hunt deer, yotes, turkey, and grouse. Maybe I need to start hunting moose to "justify" a .338 win mag. Lol

I can only afford 1 'quality' rifle/scope in each category so I go quality over quantity. And they are by no means top end guns/scopes.

I don't have a double rifle. I don't particularily need one, and logic tells me that my large animal hunting is better handled with scoped magazine rifles. Still, I don't have one, and they do have an undeniable cool factor. Logic is going to lose.

I enjoyed this, and suffer from the same conundrum.

.204 just doesn't do it for me. Neither does the .223.

Now a .221 Firebal or 22 Hornet l would be nice.

It's a never ending evolution of what works for me and what doesn't, and the things that turn my crank.
I'm forever trying out new things to keep it fun and interesting.

A few that are on the top of the enormous list:

- 12 ga coach gun, can't believe I don't have one.
- 28 ga SXS that fits right, tried a couple, haven't found the right one yet.
- .22 lr in a break action with peep sight, any suggestions on this one?
- .257 Roberts, 25-06, or 6.5x55, light weight, 20" barrel, maybe on a HVA 1600
- .458 Win, bolt gun, 20" barrel, peep sight

I'm not one for having "rifles" of the same calliber, shotguns diff story, but I guess theres a gap from .223 to 30-06, maybe a .243? I dont have much desire for much larger than .303/30-06, ohhh just thought! .357 in a lever! Boom decision done!

From a sensible point of view something bigger than my 358win (375h&h or similar). The want list includes things like 257 roberts, Winchester 94, some sort of 7mm, and a lever gun chambered in 22mag
