I can't wait to head to camp in a few days - the weather forecast looks good, too. This year my main firearm will be my Mossberg .243 and backup duty will be my Marlin 336C in 30-30.

The countdown is on!

7mm rem mag, it is laser accurate, I know it's all up to me on this one.

30-30 hasn't been home long enough to finish sighting in for optimum trajectory, accuracy dependability.

Savage .270 for the more open areas and Winchester .308 semi for the tight/dirty areas where a scope is no good. Since I tend to walk the road every now and then between the morning and afternoon hunt I will also have the SR22 and subsonic rounds for grouse.
