What groups might a Rem 760 achieve?

Sorry, but 760's shoot better than many bolts I've tried. I have to say that you don't know what you're talking about.

I'll ignore 16
I'm sorry you just don't see pumps at competition. You see primarily turn bolts for a reason. They allow consistency which is largely had by neck only sizing.

BTW poster of #16,you get all 4 moose?H:S:

A good pump may equal the worlds worst bolt at best

I hope there are no impressionable children reading this. They may well think there is some basis to that ludicrous statement.

Of course you don't. Pumps are never going to compete with bolts. Out of the box accuracy is another thing entirely. And people who think all pumps shoot 2 MOA groups at best havent tried many. Or seen many shot.

And just to make a point. I only have this old target online. But heres my 7600 308. 9 shots at 100 yards. Cheap Winchester 150 grain PP bullets.

And yes the nineth shot did make it 2MOA. :D

Your co arguer above would disagree that pumps dont out shoot bolts. And I must apologize for saying"the worst bolt" I have to take into consideration what some people purchase for bolts

I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I wouldn't take that gun to the bush. I'll correct that before the ambush. Was that with or w/out glass and was there a 30 kph wind?

Looks like Blindside/Laughingfool (AKA.Doug Laframbroise)is back again.Whats this, his fourth run at being banned?

Thought you were going to ignore me Nifty, or is that Blindside, or maybe Laughingfool, or do you just want to use Doug????????????????

This should be fun. Where are your four moose and what are you going on about? This answer should be just chalked full of sanity. Oh come on, give us at least one pic of all the moose from the other thread .PLEASE!!!!That must account for the gun sale, to pay for the high priced, non producing hunt. Or was that hunt in your imaginary world?

Where did you get those chamberings? I have often thought I'd like one in .260.

They come from Grice Wholesale in Pennsylvania. They have a special run as wee speak of 25-06, and 7mm-08. If you keep an eye on Grice, they will have a run of .260s. Mine shoots every bit as good as a bolt;).

I often look at the Grice special runs. How do you get them here. Could you give me an idea of the import costs to get one, if you don't mind?

cheers.

Here is one of my best groups with my 7600 in 25-06 from early this spring, shooting 120gr Sierra HPBT backed by Hodgdon H4831SC @ 2920 fps. Not bad for a pump gun.
