What gun have you been lusting after lately?

Ruger SR1911 commander. Just something about the look of that gun makes me want one.
M14 to build up and tinker with for hours in the shop........then shoot shoot shoot!

Bill, I completely agree. I am also VERY attracted to the Korth beauties. Not sure I will ever be able to justify spending 9K on one single revolver though...

I hear ya, it's a chunk of change for sure - but if I can lay off buying any other FA's for awhile LOL ....what's that old saying, "may all your dreams...but one.. come true"

Bill: Stop buying other firearms for a long while to save up for a Korth has also been a plan of mine. I am not that strong though. Are you ?

I hear you Bill. Maybe we could all benefit from therapy. But the thing is, for therapy to work, you have to want it to. Not sure I want to be cured from my gun addiction.-- :)

There is always place in my herd for a top shelf 45 ACP or 357 mag cant resist those 2 mystic calibers... JP.

Amen brother, I've got a bad itch for a certain little something something again too LOL.

I've been considering a Sauer 202 in 7mm MAG, the thing is a quality build. Been to the shop a few times handling it now....but I'm not sure I want to spend $4g on a hunting rifle.

I'm going to have some time to kill in Vancouver next month. I'm thinking of taking a drive out to Wanstalls in Maple Ridge but I'm a little afraid I won't be able to resist the siren call of an Ed Brown 1911.:d

My friend take a serious look at the LB, for a lot less money you get as much pistol... JP.

Interesting. From what I've read the Ed Brown is much more finely finished but the LB is as good internally. I do like pretty things but at what cost?

Maybe I should just hold my nose and jump in with both feet and go Wilson Combat.

Same thing apply to the WC VS the LB... JP.

You are not wrong in the least. I think you would be hard pressed to find any meaningful difference in accuracy between the top brands, as such LB is a very attractive value proposition. But if you desire a gun finished to the standard it shoots you'll be hard pressed to do better than Brown. Never owned a Wilson so can't comment on them.

One other thing of note, with the tanked dollar we may see a steep jump in price compared to the last round of LB's. If they're 3k or more I would spend the extra for the Brown.....or another Pardini, perhaps in .45?

You're all horrible influences.
