If you want casual shooting, cheap, and accuracy together, you pretty much should look around for a 1322 or 1377 pump pneumatic Crosman.
A Mk1 or Mk11 Crosman CO2 pistol is a pretty decent machine for shooting too, if you either don't mind the cost of cartridges, or you do what I did and put a bulk adapter and an airgun CO2 tank on it.
There are a LOT of aftermarket parts for the 2240 line of Crosmman pistols too.
I always found it really more frustrating, than fun, to shoot a air pistol that was not at least as capable as I was, for accuracy.
If you get a chance to shoot a decent quality target grade air pistol, do it! It'll ruin you for playing with kids toy airguns, for sure!
