InRange TV did a review of the Gen II recently,
InRange TV, and it was not favourable.
Some of the faults they noted:
Forend is too large, and adds too much weight to the front
Muzzle brake is weird, and unnecessary for a 223 round.
Their rifle produced many light strikes on high quality, factory ammo
Forend + oversized muzzle brake = too hard to take down to clean the piston which is recommended every 500 rounds(!!!)
Charging handle impacts stock locking nut, cutting a groove
Stock retaining bolt came loose during use causing stock to fold
