Just a heads up... Last time I checked a Norinco SKS, and an SKS D are the same thing, as Norinco made the SKS D variant for the North American Market, and by made I mean a Norinco bubba took a grinder to a bunch of original SKS rifles so they could take an AK Mag.

I realize that , but alot of folks don't i was just pointing out why the big bucks ,also have you ever bought an sks and asked a gunsmith to alter it to accept a magazine ? Here i found 1 willing to do it and he wanted 300$ so , 300$ plus 200 for gun in pristine shape = 500$ for a gun already altered , so to me it is worth 500$ , to someone else it's worth less or more depending on what they want to do with it
