What is the best Recoil Reducing stock?

here is the supercell with me pushing on it with 1 thumb, balancing the gun and using the other hand to take the pic... not the best way to squish it and you can still see the flex it has.
its a good recoil pad.

Yeah, after seeing how well the pad on my 887 works (not a Limbaver by brand, but same idea) I've been thinking about getting one to put on my Knoxx, though I'm not sure what I'll ever really use the Norc for unless my Remington breaks ;)

I also love those Remington reduced-recoil slugs and buck.

I meant not pulling the Knoxx into your shoulder. Next time out try just resting it on your shoulder, it may change things

Check out nutnfancy's review on the Knoxx stock. I got the pistol grip knoxx and like it but the adjustable butt stock knoxx not so good (so i've heard)

I put an ati talon 6 position stock with scorpion butt pad and scorpion pad in the pistol grip. It doesnt make a huge difference with recoil but enough to comfortably extend shooting for an extra hour or two. Makes slugs and buck feel a bit closer to target loads.

1. Yes, muzzle brakes will improve recoil

2. Yes,

Mesa tactical adjustable

or maybe a Hogue fixed with a Limbsaver Recoil Pad.
I prefer fixed stocks...

Exactly. My Knoxx on an 835 works best when I hold it lightly to my shoulder, pulling back on the fore end and pushing forward on the pistol grip. Once I started using it like the instructions told me to it worked great. The adjustable length helps when smaller people are shooting, like my 7 year old nephew. He put 2 12 ga skeet rounds downrange for his first shooting experience. No complaints, all smiles. In the future, I would get a semi.

I kinda go old school and use a shooting vest. Its actually a tac vest with a large pad on the shoulders.

My tac shotguns (MP-A, M4, 870) have adjustable ATI stocks - have to shorten it from the padding.. works great no need for that rubber on the butt stock.

The exception s the Ithaca M37 - I chopped the stock down to an L.O.P. of 11" to fit the tac vest.

I prefer the non rubber butt stocks of an ATI because it does not bind up on the pad of my vest during fast ready starts @ the buzzer(low, high ready)

Anyhow hope this helps.
