What is the least expensive 10mm Auto Pistol in Canada

"least expensive" and 10mm is an oxymoron lol. You may save a some money on the purchase of the firearm, but unless you are reloading, your ammo costs are going to quickly become very expensive. For me, I prefer to shoot 10mm out of my S&W 610 revolvers because I hate chasing brass.

610 all the way. Love that gun

Funny story about a 610. I found one at a local dealer for $899. I thought that was a real good price so I bought it, I had two. So I put it up for sale to fund another purchase and the purchaser flipped a lid due to the registration certificate said 6 1/2" and the bbl was 5". So I refunded the $$ and attempted to get the proper registration. Couldn't get it done so I asked the selling dealer what to do. He took it back and resold it for $799. It was an awful nice gun in origional box. Someone had changed the origional barrel to 5 inch. I didn't have an issue with this but some would I guess. Covid troubles I guess, couldn't get CFO to address the bbl change.

Curious if you had a bad experience. Typically glocks are considered a pretty good platform for the 10mm.

The large frame Glock is one of few pistols that was built from the ground up around the 10mm. It handles it just fine. Get a bulge buster from LEE or load your ammo slightly lighter. The paper won't notice. I went through all sorts of recoil spring swaps and aftermarket barrels but just came full circle to using the stock pistol as it is. I shoot 135grn JHPs at 1600fps+ among many other impressive but somewhat pointless loads.

Did not feel comfy shooting hot load out of my G40, after i bought my Sig 220 10mm, the Glock was returned in the safe, it shoot perfect with medium loads but who shoot medium load in a 10mm. My biggest fun factor is a load 135 gr pushing shy of 2k in my TD, it's a potent marmott load.J P.

Thats one I regret selling to a shooting buddy. I prefer it to my G20 I have now. Theres one on the EE now

I have an EAA/Tanfoglio 10mm Hunter and it is a fantastic shooter and built like a tank. There is a reason EAA 10mms have a bit of cult following in the US.

I had the Sig 10mm and it is definitely a well built gun

I hesitated between the Sig and the DW Bruin ( i know you have one at the time you had it on the EE, my choice was making you an offer or buy a 220 BNIB from a dealer ), i always wonder about the DW. JP.

I’d buy the Bruin again. The only reason I sold it was because I have a 6” Les Baer 10mm as well but the Bruin was really nice. DW has now ditch the angled spring plug so the new Bruins are slightly improved IMO.

I’d also say that the 1911 and Sig p220 are different enough that you should have both.

I am still thinking of getting one. JP.

I own a few 10mm’s. DE, Gold Cup Elite, Glock 40 and a Springfield TRP Operator 6”. The glock is OK, not much better. I love the Springfield but you are looking for a Budget gun. See if you can find an XD might fit your needs and feel good after 50 rounds.

I have a s&w 1006 definitely my favourite gun. Solid but a little big in the hand but what 10mm isn’t. Not a budget gun but save your $ you won’t regret it. Especially with the recoil of the 10 you will want something solid

This one fits just right, but it certainly isn’t the least expensive 10mm.

I currently have a para elite hunter long slide and a glock 40. In order to feed these two I purchased a lee progressive press for 270$ brand new. Easily makes a couple hundred rounds an hour. It’s no Dillon but for the price it’s a no brainer.

I would love to find a Bren 10 like the one above. That’s a work of art. I would like to try a tangfoglio 10mm one day as well

Very nice. That is the grail for most of us 10mm aficionados or collectors of all those innovative designs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Though probably the most expensive 10mm you'll find up here.

If you can't get the Bren, the Tanfoglio/EAA (particularly the Elite, Limited, Stock, Custom, Match) is as close as you'll come. They shoot very well if you like the CZ platform.

Unless nostalgia is a factor I don't see the big deal about the Bren. There is a significant chance your gun could be defective and good luck sourcing mags.
