What is the life span of a 25 shot mag for ruger 10/22

One if the reasons I no longer do face to face deals.

People try all sorts if bull schitt things to get a lower price.

It was 5 minutes from my house! It was easy enough to driver there and take it back home again

... I have worn out some BC Hot Lips mags in the past... I doubt the Steel lip or BX mags would go in a timeframe that you'd ever have to worry about.

This; back in the before times, wore some Hot Lips and Ramline mags so thin my thumb would have 100's of micro cuts in it after a day of gopher culling. Once switching to Steel Lips, no longer an issue. I suspect a magazine with metal lips would never wear out, maybe the spring after a lifetime of heavy shooting.

Has there been any charges or actual update on this RCMP nonsense? Has anyone been approach to surrender their mags or punished because of possession?

I’ve a speed loader for 597 & 10/22. I loaded many mags. The hot lips wear quicker than the steel. As expected, but we are talking thousands of shots. Clean them once in a while so the grit does not wear. With the speed loader you don’t wear out your thumb or get the many nicks.
