What is the lowest price decent centerfire handgun on the market today?

"doctor deals" in Moncton NB - stainless Jericho $429 (used)
Or M&P .45 same price

I'll second the CZ75 suggestion though

You are welcome
Is this Jericho one of the IMI Surplus guns that were available last fall? If so, these are great guns. I bought one at Christmas, it has a fair bit of holster wear but little sign of being fired too much. Nice bore and very little wear on the feed ramps. Full steel frame. Frame mount safety. SAO. Shoots like a dream. Came with one brand new mag, I bought two more CZ75 mags for $35 each. They fit perfect.

Tokarev TT-33 - 7.62x25

I have a TT-33, they now cost almost as much as the IMI Jericho and the cheap surplus ammo, is banned at most ranges and much harder to find than 9mm. That is why I bought the Jericho, much cheaper to shoot when using range friendly ammo. Both are fun guns, but the Jericho is much easier for a newbie. The 7.62x25 round is a hot firecracker when compared to the 9mm.

The cz p10 series pistols are impressive. I was incredibly fortunate to grab a p10sc - it has the full slide/barrel and compact frame. I think it's the perfect balance.
I've only held and dry fired a Canik - amazing value

^^^^^^ Yep, I have the CZ P10F, tried the Canik but I found the grip a bit short for my hand...

Stay Safe

I've had Norinco copies of a couple popular CZ and Sig models in .40S&W. They worked well and I thought they were good value but I just wanted to try them (and the cartridge,) I only keep revolvers and a Browning Hi-Power.

Amazed how well the 941f shoots!

So am I. It’s a great gun, I might even look for another one. I like how the full steel gun feels in your hand. My wife has a Walther PPX and the polymer/plastic just feels too much like a toy. I am surprised how much muzzle flip there is in her PPX. It’s not uncontrollable by any means but when switching between the two the first shot with her PPX reminds you quite quickly.

Just make sure there are mags available, and other stuff might want down the road, I would stay away from norincos, If you buy something somewhat common recoil springs and mags, holsters won't be to hard to find. Norincos are rough! But you can buy a good 500 buck gun, and should last you along time. Dont look at it as just a starter gun, I still have my first pistol, a used, m and p 40. Works great recoil spring was replaced at 6000. Go with used m and p or ruger or glock if you like plastic, if you want metal there are surplus 92s and jericho 941 s out there.

.38 Special, not 9mm, but clean, used S&W M&P/Model 10s or Colt Official Police service revolvers are generally very reasonably priced, and are solid, reliable, good shooting guns.

another vote for the sd9. look around and you can get for the same price as the sd9ve. a glock copy for 1/2 the price but all the same reliability and (ymmv) points better than a glock. i put 1600 rounds through it on a black badge course with crap ammo and had one failure to fire. 1911 guys could not keep their guns running.

not a lot of aftermarket, but you can do the trigger if you want (caveat emptor) and there's a threaded barrel for it now.

I’m in the mood to purchase another handgun, but my finances are limited. Just wondering what everyone has seen or had experience with lately.
I prefer 9mm, just cause I like to shoot and ammo is reasonably priced.
Revolver or pistol, doesn’t matter.
Thanks

I'll throw out a CZ P10F as a nice handgun for $500.00 +/-
