I don't see why not Jerry. Again, you would have to pick a pretty accurate handgun, and, as always, practice, practice, practice. Are there any silhouette clubs near you? Maybe go and watch the guys shooting that, and see what they use and how they do. I can't do it, but I watched a guy empty a Superblackhawk at a ram target at 500 meters one time and hit it with every shot. Of course, he was pretty exceptional with a handgun. Frozen milk jugs at 100 make pretty good targets that are easy to spot at those distances too. Steel targets are helpful because of the noise. I scoped my Dan Wesson 44 for a while, just to see how bad a shot I really was, and was surprised at what you could hit once you can see it. I have two 357 Max revolvers that work pretty good at these distances too, one a Ruger and one a DW. - dan
