They're a system designed to demonstrate the degree to which H&K is out of touch with the market.
I just sold a Samson 15" Evolution on the EE. The Evo rail sections are stupid heavy IMHO.Yeah...at first that's what my question was....since there are a variety of handguards out there without quad rails and some of them even include the rail sections in the box. Seems to be versatile enough....I'd imagine the weight difference between a keymod and samson evo rail is negligible?
My 16.7" Noveske keymod rail will come in lighter than the 15" Sampson.
12.7 oz for the 16.7" Noveske vs 13.4 oz for the 15" Samson.Interested to know what the difference is....personally, I don't get to hung up about 40 grams here or there. My AR is already on the heavy side.
3 gun is a sport where you actually use 3 separate guns.I need a key mod in the worst way. Any weight savings I can get will help out.

If I can save 25-30 ounces, I can finally use my AR for 3 gun.
imagine if you had all 5 mags loaded with 29rds...I need a key mod in the worst way. Any weight savings I can get will help out.
