What is your all time favourite pistol/revolver?

A. Whichever one I have with me at the moment. The one which I've chosen to carry and that I generally suggest to most people is the:

B. Glock Model 19.

C. On the other hand if anyone wants to lend or give me another to try and change my mind, please do!

On a related note, I'd like to find a revolver for concealed carry and general purposes. Suggestions?

for a concealed carry revolver I think you would want one with a covered hammer like the S&W j frame model 442. they are not pretty but nothing to snag on when drawing.

I'm biased, because it's the pistol I learned to shoot with and have subsequently shot the most with:

CZ-75, circa ten years ago, ish? Standard hammer, non-ambi controls, magazines don't drop free, but I love it.

I'd buy another CZ without fretting over it. The newer 75s with the ambi controls and drop-free magazine release are swell. Wouldn't buy anything bigger though.

I'm also a fan of anything similar to the Colt SAA. Ruger's offerings appeal to me. I'm after a Vaquero with the replicated case-hardening colouring.

Also, I sold it really quickly, but probably should have kept it: Ruger has a little 22/45 with a 4.5 inch slab-sided barrel. Neat!

Hi mine would be the S&W 624 Lew Horton Special because its a 3" 44 Special a real tack driver and my S&W Model 53 its a 22 Rem Jet Magnum its based on a .357 magnum shell sized down to a .22 caliber a real blast to shoot they say its the King of Flash & Bang and yes it is puts out one hell of a light show in the dark.

I just purchased one after months of waiting... Can't wait to try it out!!

Kinda fee bad about C-68 halting my in progress a seecamp 32 transaction from the factory (the one that got away; however, trading my place in line with a grateful purchaser does take some of the sting away)... ...otherwise I guess i'd say norc 1911 from marstar bare frame (no "made in china" stamp) and donor NP-28 slide, now chambered in 9x23 (kinda hoping John gets some NP-29s in the near future!).
