Thanks!Really depends what you want to do with it? More precision style? Classic lines? Ultralight? I have a McMillan sporter as well as a winlite stock, both are excellent quality. Wildcat stocks are also very nice and extremely light.

They are still available through D’Arcy. Not sure on the details anymore though.
The push feed long actions were available in a McMillan stock from factory “winlite” Sometimes you can get em cheap. Blind mag with schnable or normal bottom metal and without the schnable forend.Good to know, thanks.
For now its a Stainless Classic in 270 Win with the factory black plastic, but never know...might want something better.
I've owned a few of these Winlites over the years. Still hunt with one in 300 WM, and have another stock to use when I decide what cartridge I want it in. Most of the ones I have come across were in 270, but they did make them in a few cartridges. It's a good stock, comfortable and easy to carry. My other Model 70 builds are going into Richards Marksman stocks. - danThe push feed long actions were available in a McMillan stock from factory “winlite” Sometimes you can get em cheap. A few years ago I bought a NIB xtr model 70 stock from Keith in bewdley Ontario. I’d imagine he still has an assortment of factory stocks.
If you’re lucky might have some 8gauge kiln guns that he’s working on. Same with model 70 parts if your looking to build a little repair stash
Oh, I'd never heard of Keith. Interesting. Having some parts on hand wouldn't be bad at all.The push feed long actions were available in a McMillan stock from factory “winlite” Sometimes you can get em cheap. Blind mag with schnable or normal bottom metal and without the schnable forend.
