What do you mean “what does that look like”?
My 270 Win looks a lot like a 280 AI except …..gooder!

My favorite caliber is 7mm. My favorite cartridge is the 280 Remington, though 7mm Remington mag
and 7 X 57 aren't far behind.

Why is this stuff so hard for some?
Widely available, factory ammunition and reloading components relatively easy to find, flat trajectory for most sane hunting distances, capable of killing any animal in this country (proven time and time again), relatively mild recoil, holds four or five cartridge’s in the magazine, generally feeds well (better than shorter, or fatter cartridges), come in standard sporter weight rifles, the used market is incredibly robust, and I’ve probably missed something or 10.
Honestly? Doing it all again. I’d find a Ruger 77, Winchester 70, or Remington 700 in 270 or 30-06 and call it finished.

Cheers. Please publish how your 180's and 200's work out.
My favourite caliber is .366" but my favorite cartridge is .308 Winchester, primarily because it's available, well supported, shootable and just does a really good job in that 0-300m where everything seems to happen for me - 165gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw 90% of the time...
Heh, me three. You guys beat my to it. That pill must have been moovin!Exactly what i was thinking too..lol
Ahaha, well said.Overpressure is like being overweight. Life is full of risk but it’s worth living.
In what cartridge do you like the .366"?
What is your favourite hunting caliber for medium to large North American game up to 500 meters and why is it 30.06?
Anyone that is starting hunting that asks my opinion on cartridge anymore I recommend a 270. It’s an extremely well balanced cartridge.
Yeah right.Honestly? Doing it all again. I’d find a Ruger 77, Winchester 70, or Remington 700 in 270 or 30-06 and call it finished.
