What is your favourite hunting caliber and

Why is this stuff so hard for some?

Widely available, factory ammunition and reloading components relatively easy to find, flat trajectory for most sane hunting distances, capable of killing any animal in this country (proven time and time again), relatively mild recoil, holds four or five cartridge’s in the magazine, generally feeds well (better than shorter, or fatter cartridges), come in standard sporter weight rifles, the used market is incredibly robust, and I’ve probably missed something or 10.

Honestly? Doing it all again. I’d find a Ruger 77, Winchester 70, or Remington 700 in 270 or 30-06 and call it finished.

Ah Ha ! Great stuff ! Great to know ALL that Hi Tech #### Chucky ! Extremely Well Balanced ! guess that leaves out the 7 RMag & 300 WMag - 280AI and all the Whizzum cartridges . And any other Out of Balance cartridges EH Laugh2:popCorn: RJ

My favourite caliber is .366" but my favorite cartridge is .308 Winchester, primarily because it's available, well supported, shootable and just does a really good job in that 0-300m where everything seems to happen for me - 165gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw 90% of the time...

In what cartridge do you like the .366"?

7mm Rem Mag, with .30-06 and .300 Win Mag close behind. Might be 7mm PRC or .30 Nosler when I finally get around to one of those, until then 7-mag is still my usual go-to.

Edit: weird double-post (sort of) there...
