My go to .22, 10/22 of course, big fun with the 25rd mags. Aftermarket everything other than bolt(polished), receiver and trigger housing. Bushnell 4-12 and I aluminum block bedded and put a rear holddown in stock, rear 2" of barrel epoxy bedded, it shoots!!!!

Looks great, please explain the "rear holddown"

The R55 is an enigma - very accurate and easy to shoot (stock shape and weight means not shift with shooting and barrel very accurate) but is a little boring cause just keep pulling the trigger and bullets basically go in shame place (sub moa at 100m like the CZ 453 Varmint but CA453 takes more effort as have to recompose each time and thus more fun).
