what is your go to rimfire

I would have to say my Mossberg 46b(b) if I am punching paper. With a 6-24x40 scope, I was hitting spent 7.62x39 cases at 75 yards. It took a few tries to get it but I did get them. Shotgun shells are a little easier but for being 60 plus years old, it is a damn accurate rifle. General usage though, I would stick by my Lakefield MKII.

Probably my cooey model 60 with a bushnell rimfire on it... until I got my savage btv with a japanese made banner on it. Now having said that, I love my cooey an awful lot.

My go to rimfire/22 is either one of these Marlins 981T or 22mag the 983T ... one of these two is never far when I'm out and about the property. Fun little rifle, good value, accurate and I love that they are tube fed.

My go-to bolties are a Savage MKIIF or Marlin 981T depending on which one is within closer reach within the safe, at the time. They both wear cheapo rimfire Bushnell Sportsman or Banners.

My go-to semi-auto is my Marlin 60 with 4 x 32 scope. In the safe, it is always closer to my reach than the bolties.

The above rifles can do 1.5 inch, 5 shot, 100 meter groups with Winchester bulk Dynapoints, all day. No wind. of course.

Well I can't comment on shooting my 981T out to 100m YET...but I will say that I'm very happy and I'm very impressed that it will do this with the same ammo you mentioned at 50 m...

Not bad at all for a gun that cost me $219.00 plus tax!

If that hole at 12 o'clock is a flyer, you'll certainly make 1.5 inch groups.:)

My go to is a CZ 452 Varmint in 22lr with a 3200 2-7 scope and tuned trigger. A fantastic rifle with a centrefire "feel" and more accurate than I am. I have a few different guns, this has to be my favourite.
