what is your go to rimfire

go too .22

For many yrs it was my marlin 81 bolt tube fed or my browning trombone:D

Now it can be my ruger 96 lever with a 25 rd mag and chase pop cans

Darn just too many now to choose from;) Have brno 452 coming in so that may take the lead:D

I like your way of thinking :D

For benchrest: (Haven't got that bug yet!)
For Hunting: Browning M52
For 3P match shooting: Anschutz 54
For 3p Sport shooting: Russian Biathlon Basic
For fun type shooting: Ruger 10/22 Custom

Some fine rimfires there  (although I would be a bit hesitant about taking out that M52 into the bush ;))

Do you shoot 3p type competition?

I too have different rimfires for different purposes. But my "go to" .22 for reasons of familiarity and comfort seems to always be my old, beat up, cooey 39 with custom fingernail extractor.

Go to

I have 2 BRNO model 2E's both have beautiful triggers and are very accurate, and nicely scoped. This may change as I have found myself a BRNO number 1 and a number 2, and they will be arriving soon. FS

Mossberg 146B

For paper punching, it loves CCI standard velocity, accurite as heck!
For plinking I can load 20 LR or 35 shorts into the tube and hunt golf balls till my face hurts from grinning:D

Cheers
Geoff

Go to .22 for bushwacking, prying apart beaver dams, throwing behind the truck seat is an old cheap lakefield semi-auto that fires at least every 7 out off every 10 shots.

Ditto. The one I have was inherited from my Grandfather, he used it on his trapline in case he had to "dispatch" anything. I did the a heavy bbl'd benchrest .22LR with a huge scope / bipod that could tear the ragged hole , but I found it completely impractible for chasing gophers. I sold it and and applied the funds toward my varmit set up (.223)
