M6 22 Hornet

When my wife and I Kyak l pack a M6 scout in 22 Hornet for protection and survival also 3" 410 with slugs. I will feed us if need be. The 22LR hasn't got the poop for bigger game and if its birds well #4 shot in the 410.
If you can find a M6 it rides nice in the Jeep too.

I've got a ancient Marlin 80 that sure ain't ###y but it is a great shooter. I have a tree hugging neighbour so I like that I can load the clip with shorts or CB's for covert ops on racoons and other pests.

Is it wrong that I only have one rimfire?

It is sans scope now. (I'll have to get a new picture up) I bought a peep sight from Williams for it and not only does it look cooler... (which is almost as important as how straight it shoots ;) ) I'm finally learning how to shoot with iron sights! :D It's amazing how accurate you can be with a little practice. (or a lot....)

Ruger 10/22 Bulter Creek "feather weight combo" Bushnell "trophy" red dot. The receiver has been stripped and the barrel and all exposed metal has been refinished giving it a matte finish. This thing has taken grouse, beaver, muskrat, squirrel, rabbit and feral dog. Round count is probably close to 10,000.

PS: Anyone that has bad things to say about butler creek's carbon fiber barrels has never owned one. :D

My CZ 452 varmint in 22lr. Accurate, ###y and solid like a rock.
Trigger pull lowered. Barrel channel sanded down and added a set screw to secure the barrel lug to the barrel. That thing is a laser beam!

i will be buying a sako 17hmr for gophers and even coyotes out to 15o m

I used to own a lot of rimfires.
Sold most of them.

I kept a BSA Martini International Mk 4 for benchrest, a Voere semi for the woods, a couple of open-bolt Voeres and Gevarms for fun, and a custom CZ 611 in .17hmr for punching holes in dimes at 100 yards

There were a few I just couldn't bear to part with, even though I never shoot them: some heavily reworked 10/22s because I put so much time into tweaking them and a Browning takedown semi just because its purty.

hey nine is that 10 22 easy to walk with looks awsom i keep looking at these and am interested in them but prefer a 22 mag i got a hk 300 recently but it is so heavy to walk with,i think i will try looking for a 22 mag ,is there the same barrel kits for the 22 mag?
