I use a Remington 870 3" Magnum with a Cantilever barrel that takes chokes. For Turkey I use a JELLEY HEAD, I use a BUSHNELL Shotgun scope as my eye sight was screwed by Shingles on the dominant eye.
My old man said to say hi.

You're a few years behind on the hunting regulations.
It's nice that we can use 7's now, but as mentioned by others we should be allowed smaller. Shot shell technology is always advancing. There is no reason we shouldnt be allowed to use 9's in TSS.
The funny part is that we can use 5,6,7 magnum blends. Ever cut one open? The inconsistencies in the slag put many of the pellets in the 9-10 range. There are really tiny pellets in some of them.
Thompson Center 12 gauge black powder shotgun with a load of Nickel plated #5 .
Whats a comfortable range with that setup? I have an 835 and will be using the same choke and ammo. I know my barrel is overbored to 10g, but im unsure as to how much difference that will make until i get to pattern it.
