I don't usually buy ammo (except for .22 LR) but bought a couple boxes of Federal Fusion 120gr for my Kimber .260 Rem. I compared it to a few quick put together loads and the Fusion shot the best so that's what I'm using this year for deer.
1 box of 45-70 for the new Marlin 1895SBL. This will be the first and only box for this rifle as I reload. Same with all my rifles/pistols. I only buy ammo for the initial sight in of the rifles and then reload the rest.
Just bought a brick of 125 rds Norinco 7.62 to put thru the DA Socom I bought on impulse. Not sure how it shoots , Ive shot the Norc 5.56 and it was ok, hopefully this works, first 308, so will find out.
While, as I mentioned earlier, I do not normally buy CF ammo, I recently bought
two boxes of Vintage "Dominion" 38-55 ammo. It is pristine, and in the original
blue and yellow boxes....This is also the HV stuff at c. 1600 fps. D.
I don't buy CF ammo as a rule, but bought 15 boxes of S&B 174 grain Torpedo 7X64 from Trade-Ex to harvest brass, but the ammo/bullet proved to be very accurate in my rifles.
Couple boxes of #4 Remington high brass pheasant loads for grouse hunting with my 20" SxS. I see the odd bunny too so it's nice to have a little bigger pellets.
3000 rounds of CCI velocitor's from tenda (went splits with a buddy on these) 400 rounds of american eagle from Dominion outdoors and 800 rounds of winchester M22 from cabelas, should be set for awhile with rimfire ammo
