I don't buy CF ammo as a rule, but bought 15 boxes of S&B 174 grain Torpedo 7X64 from Trade-Ex to harvest brass, but the ammo/bullet proved to be very accurate in my rifles.

i picked up one measly box of 12 ga. slugs while we were out on our month long camping/fishing trip in aug.all fishing,no shooting.just for bear deterrence.we were planning on exploding pumpkins this weekend but the rain has arrived with a vengence.

I was very happy to pick up 4 boxes of the classic Winchester Silvertip ammunition in 300 Winchester Magnum. The bullets are 220gr. Anyone used these before?

Noveske 7.62x51 110gr, on sale at Pheonix range, (no gst) the brass is excellent and it levels coyotes out of my PAR. Recoil is light and most importantly it looks wicked.

I was very happy to pick up 4 boxes of the classic Winchester Silvertip ammunition in 300 Winchester Magnum. The bullets are 220gr. Anyone used these before?

I've never owned a 300 Win Mag rifle but I have loaded many hundreds of 30 cal. 180 and 220 gr Silvertip bullets into different chamberings such as the 308 and 30-06 and they work just fine. The tips of the rounds don't get beaten up by handling or loading/cycling through magazines or actions either in my experience. Still have a small stash of them tucked away in my bench.
