Bought two new rifles this month, a Tikka T3X 7mm-08 stainless that will hopefully get re-stocked in the new year. And also picked up a Henry single shot 45/70--cause it is such a cool little rifle and I can see it riding in the truck and side by side with me a lot.

I am itching to also get a Henry single in 45-70 and also 30-30.

It would be super cool if Henry released 1 limited edition single shot, per year, in an unusual or rare calibre. I'd line up for a pair in 7x57R and 8x57R.

That would be cool, kind of like what Remington did with the 700 Classic. Henry could put extra nice wood on them, even engrave the receivers or something to commemorate the fact they are a limited edition. I would line up for some of those as well. Single shots might be the only thing we are allowed to use in the very near future!

Very nice. It's a classy rifle, I may pick one up myself before they get too scarce.

I picked up a Winchester 70 Featherweight (CRF) 300 win mag from a fellow CGNer which Im going to have rebarreled to 7mm PRC, I was shocked and really happy when I received this rifle as it was basically BNIB, excellent condition.

Latest game-to-burger conversion tool. Tikka T3X laminate, Talleys, Fullfield IV, Mcarbo trigger spring, Atlasworxs titanium recoil lug, bolt knob, and aluminum pillars, PR Precision bottom "aluminum". Limbsaver for comfort.

I bought it as a 7mm Rem Mag with intentions of rebarrelling to 7mm PRC, but I have Rem Mag dies, a few dozen brass, and something like 140 factory cartridges for a previous 7-mag sitting on the shelf. So this thing will hunt pretty hard for the next few years at least before moving on to project status.
