What is your most recent rifle purchase?

Just scored this little fellow 1-9" twist Rem 700 stainless VTR in 223.

When it arrives the first thing is to mount a Leupold VX3 4.5-14X40mm LR Varmint reticle scope then get 2" lopped off the barrel to get rid of that muzzle break.

Looking at getting a different stock and detachable bottom metal/mags as well.

7 days ago I bought a 338 Win Mag Xbolt Composite Stalker. And a Leupold VXR 4x12-40mm Firedot reticle with CDS.

Then 4 days later.. went back to P & D cuz they are so awesome, and bought a Xbolt Carbon Fibre blued Fluted in .270 win
Haven't decided on optics for it.. but probably the same scope as on the 338wm...... or a VX2 with LR reticle perhaps

Marlin 336 in 35 Rem. First trip to the range to sight it in, 3 shots high right, adjusted the scope & 3 shots just over the POI. Works for me!

I plan on using this next year for deer.
