No I'm not a hunter-yet. But I am buying a couple blades online and am definitely taking game dressing into consideration, I have plans to get certified etc in a few months when school/work allow. So what do you guys use for rabbits, big or small?

Would this work? blade is 5"

You can process them with a plastic butter knife if need be. A rabbit knife? They're rabbits not elk or T- Rex's. The only creature more frail is the ruffed grouse.

Any small sharp knife will do.

But I use two to do the job.
- a small sharp buck knife with a gut hook, very small buck knife with a sharp point
- a large serated steak knife...to cut/saw/rip through spine and leg bones

I always have a big old bloody serated blade handy in the garage, I've cleaned thousands of rabbits.

pocket knife/hands/ a hatchet. the last one is not necessary but it makes cutting the feet/head off real easy.
