Nemesis Canada. No in not kidding. If sound was the biggest concern when producing a firearm at a weapons manufacturer. Then why didn't all firearms just be outright designed to have a suppressor? I agree 100% that firearms should have them. But all I was saying was that the actual modern day designed use for sound suppressors is for hunting or military use. I'm not saying that suppressors should only be used and made for the purpose of those things.
Ok, so to get back on topic. I'd like a muzzle device that lowers the precived loise level down!
Lol to those who have made actual suggestions, thank you. I was going to order the atrs but at $200 it's a little pricey. I like the cost of the AgW comp, wish I had have known about the $10 off deal. I like the Hara arms comp and have ordered it.
I will post my findings.
oh snap!!!! You three who think I was wrong can eat my shorts!!!!
Are you enlightened now?
Hey. Maybe you should read my full post you ignorant fool. Shoulda guessed this post would of come from the likes of you Suputin you tinfoil political crusader.
Firstly I said NEED. Do you NEED a supperssor to operate your firearm? No you don't.
Secondly I agree the law is dumb and I agree that we should have them. AND agree that people have and still do use them safely.
PLEASE pull your head out of space where im sure you come from, and READ the post I made and think a bit more about it BEFORE YOU post. See Siputin! I can make capital letters too
freaking troll
Haha this thread is funny. Guys lets all agree, we all would like sounds suppressors to be legal. Really, we dont need them unless you hunt people or game. But it's something I feel and I'm sure many of you feel is something that does not need to be banned from our firearms. We're not all Wanting to be James Bond or from call of duty. They are just a interesting addition to our firearms.
You're either attempting to change the context of what you wrote or you weren't effective in commnunicating your actual opinion. Which is it? Here's exactly what you wrote, in its entirety. You said nothing about needing a suppressor for the operation of a firearm. Can you really blame Suputin for responding the way he did?
One thing I found somewhat insulting is your insinuation that people who wish to own suppressors as over zealous movie buffs or gamer wanna-be's. I am neither. Funny, Suputin didn't choose to comment on this. Protecting my hearing while enjoying a hobby I enjoy greatly is my primary motivation. I could care less how "tacti-cool" suppressors look. They aren't accessories to me - they're safety devices.
Furthermore, Suputin has contributed greatly on the topics of suppressors and the use of subsonic ammunition here on CGN. In fact, I'll go out on a limb here and say he's probably one of, if not the most knowledgeable, member of this site to speak on these topics.
Don't feel all butt hurt because you got called out on something. It happens to the best of us - myself included.

thats true but you are a professional can maker.
all I was saying was that the actual modern day designed use for sound suppressors is for hunting or military use
Compensators/brakes are now classified as Significant Military Equipment, and are restricted for export.
FFS, after 7 pages of being called out on it, you still can't spell correctly.
And you should do something about your "lol to those", your age is showing.
That's got nothing to do with it. A plastic pop bottle and a can of shaving cream can work wonders.
Wow, you get that much gas cooling from shaving cream?. I never in a million years would have thought of that.

You have no clue that you have no clue. Suppressor design today is mostly driven by civilian sales. While some states do allow suppressed hunting, most don't. The vast majority of silencer sales in the US is to sport shooters. If the silencer makers were waiting for military sales they'd all go bankrupt.
While silencers are made in many other countries, it is the US market that is driving suppressor technology forward at a rapid rate.
You can ##### and whine and complain and call me a troll but all that is just a smoke screen for the fact you are talking out your @ss on this subject.
