The kidon k3 is cz shadow friendly... Have to order it from Israel so a bit of a slog unfortunately. There is also the Hera Tirari... None in Canada, and of course the German made full upper kit that if it makes it here will be like north of 2.5k
When the as○holes decided my Scorpion was too dangerous to leave my house, I had to switch to this weird-looking thing. Much to my surprise, I really like it - works great.

I too have resorted to this chassis system unfortunately. I would prefer my FX9 or my Ruger PC Carbine...but we gotta do what we gotta do
I've never understood the chassis thing woth a pistol in it.
Maybe the Glock stock you insert in the butt if you need to tap into your inner Lee Van Clief.....
But in the end it's still just a bulky pistol.
Our security in Mali carried chassis rigs and killed a large black mamba with one but I think they would have been better off carrying an AR or AKM.
Revolver cartridge carbines I get. Their larger increase in velocity and kinetic energy makes them make sense in certain circumstance.
But most of the time I think I would prefer to carry a rifle.

Well, whether you get them or not, some of us compete in PCC and have many thousands invested in competition rifles we can no longer use. So instead of investing thousands more in the limited platforms that are still available (which is all of 2 now), which could be banned at anytime by our liberal overlords, some of us have chosen to use chassis systems and pistols we already had to avoid having to buy, tweak, get mags for another PCC platform.
Mine works great, and will suffice until my competition rifles become legal again. If that never happens, then I keep plugging along with the chassis system
PS: If some smart entrepreneur/distributor wanted to make a bunch of money in the current climate, finding a way to import the top chassis systems on the market for like the CZ Shadows in to Canada could be a lucrative endeavour. As it stands right now there is no Kidon or Hera Trirai anywhere in Canda... Hell there isn't really anything other than the CAA MCK and my understanding is they just went insolvent in the U.S

So I ended up ordering one of these, planning to use it for PCC competition.
I liked the look of the folding stock so I ordered that and Zahal ships super fast so it is on its way.
I did get to thinking that maybe I would have been better getting the version with the buffer tube as it would probably be easier to get a consistent cheek weld so I have reached out to them to see if they offer the parts for a buffer tube swap.
Sniffer I have had my Kidon Kit for about 10 years. Great product. I have the style with the faux buffer tube style buttstock. You should be aware you may not be able to access your manual safety on the Shadow2 when the gun is installed or at least access it quickly. I have the attachment for the Beretta 92FS and the M&P Gen 1. While I prefer the 92FS installed I cannot access the decocker lever lever easily. I suppose I could cut out the covering polymer but just haven't been that concerned. You might want to consider a different pistol if you have others you could use or at lerast confirm access to the manual safety. IDPA insists the safety be applied or the pistol be fully decocked. so the 92FS, in my case is problematic. My M&P Pro works just fine.
I would recomend you get the version with the faux buffer tube. You get an excellent cheek weld. Not a fan of the thinner style. Might work for the military applications but not so much for the use I suspect you are going to use it for.
BTW mine came out of Israel in THREE days. by mail!

Holy, 3 days is impressive.
I notice they have a returns policy and as you allude to I think the buffer tube style may be a better fit for my intended application so if they wont sell me a buffer conversion I may have to send it back to be swapped.
I should add, again, not legal for IDPA in the US. The Canadian POC could likely get an exemption for use in Canada due to the current legal issues up here.
