Me, I think I'm gonna go levers this year. M-1895 .405Win, with the standard b/u .338WM. I might take along my M-1894 .375Win XTR Big Bore for ####s and giggles.

Three choices: M-70 .300 WM, M-70 .375 H+H mag, or a Weatherby .460

The .300 WM has a VX III 6-18x50, the .375 has a falcon menace 1-5x, and the .460 has really nice peeps on it.

Either my bow, crossbow, or a shotgun with slugs (One of the newer guns I have purchased is a shotgun with a slug barrel and I really want to see its performance in action). I have to try something new, I have even considered black powder/muzzle loaders. A rifle tickles my pickle only for so long.

Dont mind the furniture its my man cave, in the basement.

Just mounted the scope and dialed a load with the old 275 Speer for my son's 338. Checked the zeros on my 338, 416 and 458 for backup. Hahaha Should have it covered. Before we start in with the...black bears are easy to kill your guns are way too big, use a BB gun, put a sock in it.

Closest rifle I have now, that can be used for black bear, is a Savage in 300winmag or a Norinco M-14. Seeing how we have no spring bear hunt, anymore, I have till late summer to pick out a .243 bolt or something in a lever.
