If I had to hunt bear, I'd use my 358Norma.

Good choice. I picked up the same caliber in a very nice model 1651 Husqvarna from Why not? a while back. Hope to possibly use it on Moose this year. You may have mentioned it in a previous post, what rifle do you have?

Ruger .280 or Kimber Montana 7WSM. Maybe even the Win 88 in .308. The Tikka .25-06 got to go the last couple of years, so it's time for one of the others to get a turn

8x57mm loaded with 200 grainers is the go to this spring. If it's raining, my plastic-stocked 270 win gets the work.

If I were to hunt grizz or polar bears with one of the guns that I currently own, I'd go with my 378 weatherby. For black bear I'd whatever I choose as my deer/moose rifle for the season; probably a 7mm RM this year

I'd like to try out my .303 Ruger #1 this year, as I didn't shoot a deer with last fall. Also online are the NEW KING with 250gr TTSX bullets and .45 Colt Trapper with 300gr Hornady XTP's. I've only shot a cow with the Colt, so maybe a big bear or 2 will give me a chance this year.

If my chief don´t protest too much I will buy from a person his 9,3x62 Tikka T3 SS. The rifle is 5 years old, two magazines 3 and 5 cartridges + two pair Leupold QR rings 1" and 30 mm + Tikka original mounts for 1350 Canadian bucks.

If a nuisance bear this spring/summer probably my 303 #1 Ruger, and this fall for meat my 257 Roberts. I have killed them wth everything from spears to fllintlocks, from 6.5 swede to 338 win mag. The slowest dying was the spear. It was also the most interesting as I had to stab it twice. Only did that once since it was at the door and the neighbours house would have been in the line of fire for a rifle.
