What rifle do you wish they had made?

I'd like to have a Parker Hale 1200 Varmint (the one with the heavy barrel) in .308. As far as I know they never made a heavy barrel PH in .308...but I'd sure like to have one! :D

Here you go...

I'd give my left n*t for a Ruger RSI with 20 inch barrel (18.5" looks a little off to my eye) maybe chambered for the new RCM cartridges (although 7x57 would be my sentimental choice) or a Kimber 84/8400 similarly configured. I love the look of the Model 7 MS, just not a real fan of the action (I'm a CRF kind of guy).
A CRF 338-06 - M70, M77, M8400, I'm not picky.

Cheers

Coincidentally (or some weird Karma ), I just found this thread on 24hourcampfire about full stock Rugers.

I wish they somehow made all prohibs and restrics exempt from our laws....but I wish for a HK 91 and a Dragonov...already made but I'm tired and have no imagination right now......

A full stock, stainless steel (matte) Savage 99 in 260 Remington.

say What???

a Winchester M70(controled feed version of course) in 300WSM with a 22" fluted barrel and a McMillan stock. It would have to be cabable of weighing less than 6-1/2 lbs with the average 3-9X scope and a light nylon sling....possibly leaving the Winchester factory with a McMillan stock....they did it in the late 80's with the WinLites....they could do it now....in stainless of course.

of course I realize that is possible to build the above......but I'm not really good at "delayed gratification"......:)

Simple: A model seven stainless/laminate, 18.5" barrel in 350 rem mag
A ruger MKII compact in the same cal, except with that short little 16" barrel
Ruger deerfield in .454 casull and/or stainless

I could help you out with the M7 in 350 Mag....'cept this one is a short 700....and I could cut and crown the barrel at 18.5" tomorrow...but I'd leave it at 22" if I were you....

I know Rugr built some bolt action 7.62x39's, but I'd like some more...I'd liek to see an affordable Stevens so chambered. Lots of fun using heap surplus ammo, and you can play around wiht handloads, too

An unrestricted semi like a AR but using a 243 or 260 cartridge.:)

It's not so much the rifle I wish had been invented, but the ammunition. Wouldn't it be great if every bullet fired at anything other than fair game or a paper target was somehow guided to the politician or the criminal that deserved it most? Smart bullets...

a Stevens in 7.62x39 would rock - id love an affordable, accurate plinker in this cal without having to resort to a Norinco or shelling out $800
Remember to chrome the bore against the corrosive ammo.
