Vortex viper pst gen II
Clarity to me is everything, Zeiss diavari and S&B are my go to
Yeah, maybe they will up their budget from $700 to $3500 and jump on that.
He asked what other people are running or what they recommend, not necessarily which scopes fall within his $700 budget. Others in this thread have recommended Schmidt and Bender PM IIs, which cost even more than the Vortex. Your sarcasm directed specifically towards me is therefore both unnecessary and unwelcome, while contributing absolutely nothing of value to the discussion. Way to go upping your post-count though....

I have no 6.5 Creedmoor, but I run that excellent VX3i 4.5 -14 x40 CDS on my 257 Weatherby.
Really like it for all practical uses.
My 6.5x55 M700 Classic wears the same optics, except it's the 3.5-10 x 40 version. Dave.
It cost about 5 x the OP's $700 budget, but in my view the ultimate crossover long-range hunting / precision rifle scope is the Vortex Razor AMG 6-24x. Designed from the round-up to be the lightest full-featured precision scope on the market at 28.8 oz, the Razor AMG is manufactured completely in the USA at a dedicated, advanced manufacturing facility. No other scope that I have compared can come close to the performance-to-weight ratio. At $3500 It isn't cheap, but it all depends on how much importance you place on that once in a lifetime, make-it or break-it shot....

The search is over my friend bought a Burris Veracity 3-15x50mm scope with their Ballistic Plex E1 reticle.
Great choice. Burris are good value/quality on a hunting rifle IMO
